Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Overview
Kailash Overland Tour( Yatra) via Kyrung takes you to the holy land of Mt. Kailash through the newly opened Nepal-Tibet border of Rasuwagadhi-Kyrung. We escort you to worship and hike around the sacred land of Mt. Kailash. Mount Kailash easily accessible from the outskirts of Nepal . The Yatra start from Kathmandu with homage to Lord Pashupatinath temple & Lord Narayan Temple. We will drive through Langtang National Park and cross the Nepal-Tibet border at Rashuwagadhi. From Rashuwagadhi border we drive to Kyrung town and further drive to Mansarovar lake and base of the Holy Mount Kailash known as Yamadwar enjoying the scenic view of different mountains , lakes , scenic valley , town, and different faces. During the journey you will have a darshanof sacred Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurla-Mandata, Rakshash Lake, Hanuman lake and the Lake Mansarovar. The major attractions of this tour include the sacred peak of Kailash; holy Lake of Mansarovar and the highest pass of Drolma La.

The Fees include
- Actual Fees for the Trek are 1600 USD + 75000 INR. Fees seen on the page are just to facilitate to appraise the participant of the total approximate cost in INR.

- Three nights hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at hotels as per hotel category.
- Eight nights accommodation in Tibet/ China using guesthouse / camping with all meals, Twin share accommodation at Kyrung, Saga. New Dongpa and Darchen during no moon time and 3-4 beaded accommodation during full moon time. Dormitory accommodation at Mansarovar , Dirapuk and Zuthulpuk.

Age Criteria
Participant coming for this trek should not be 70 Years and above on the date of entering into China from Nepal, else his entry will be restricted at the immigration gates at the Chinese border.
Tour Plan :
01
Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival → Warm Welcome
Arrival Kathmandu Arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu(1,350 m), and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu → Yatra Preparation
Preparation & half day Kathmandu pilgrimage sightseeing Leave for pilgrimage sightseeing tour after breakfast to Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Budhanilakanth temple. Return to hotel, lunch , briefing about the yatra and preparation for yatra. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu → Timure
Drive to Syabrubesi to Timure( 160 km , 8 hoursdrive) Breakfast and Drive to Timure. After arrival at Timure check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Timure → Kyrung
Drive to Kyrung( 35kms, 1 hour drive) After breakfast drive to Nepal China friendship bridge ( 20 kms ,30 min Drive). Complete immigration formalities in Nepal side and walk approx.. 15 minutes to cross friendship bridge. Complete all China side immigration formalities & walk further ahead & get introduced with your Chinese guide / coach drivers. After introduction, proceeds the journey to Kyrung (2,700 m). Arrive in Kyrung and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Kyrung → Saga
Drive to Saga. Today after a quick break fast, we proceed our journey to reach Saga( 4,640 meter, 105 km, 3/4hours Drive ) or to New Dongpa( 4,462 meter, 182 kms, 4/5hours Drive). Enjoy the beautiful Tibetan landscape. After a scenic drive of 3/4hours, one reaches to Saga for an overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: Saga → Paryang or New Dongpa
After breakfast, drive to Paryang ( 205 Km, 3 hours drive). Full day acclimatization at Paryang or New Dongpa. Overnight stay at hotel .

Day 7: New Dongpa → Mansarovar
After breakfast, drive to Mansarovar (4,556 M, 250 Km , 3/4 hours drive). Arrive Mansarovar, take a holy bath, perform Puja, hawan, and Devtarpan etc. (self). Freshly cooked meals will be served at the edge of Mansarovar Lake. Overnight stay at guesthouse.

Day 8: Mansarovar → Darchen
Today, we have another divine opportunity to perform Holy bath, Pooja, Hawan, Tarpan etc at the edge of Holy Mansarovar. Freshly cooked meal will be served at the lake Mansarovar and proceed in the late afternoon for a drive to Darchen ( 30 km, 1 hour drive ). En-route depending upon the time and other logistics, one can visit to Chuigumpa hot spring will can be organized. Finally arrive in Darchen and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9: Darchen → Dirapuk
Trek Day - Drive to Yamadwar & start the holy trek to Dirapuk, With packed lunch box, drive to Tarboch Flag Pole the first prostration point, - an auspicious gateway and the sky burial ground. Visit Yamadwar. Here you will meet your porters/ pony caretaker etc. Commence trek to Dirapuk (4,765 m, 10 km , 5/6 hours trek). Overnight stay at guesthouse at Dirapuk.

Day 10: Dirapuk → Zuthulpuk
Trek Day - Holy trek to Zuthulpuk, Continue the Holy Parikrama over Droma La Pass (5,585 m) to Zuthulpuk (4,700 m, 22 km, 7-8 hrs trek). Overnight stay at camp/ guesthouse. There is an option to avail of vehicle to drive to Darchen at Zuthulpuk.

Day 11: Zuthulpuk → Saga
Trek Day - Holy Trek to Darchen & drive to New Dongpa/Saga. Today is our final day of the Kailash Parikrama which ends near Darchen (4,664 m, 14 km, 3-4 hrs trek) and drive to New Dongpa (350 km, 6 to 7 hrs, drive 4,464 m) or Saga (4,640 meter, 430 km, 7/8 hoursDrive). Packed lunch will be served on the way. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12: Saga → Syabrubesi
Drive to Kyrung/ Syabrubesi( 145kms, 4/5 hoursDrive) Drive to Kyrung (2,700 m, 105, km, 3/4 hour Drive). Arrive Kyrung city, lunch and further drive to Nepal / China border( 20 kms, 30 minsdrive). Complete the China side immigration formalities and cross the bridge and complete Nepal side immigration formalities. After completion of immigration formalities, you will be picked up and Drive to Syabrubesi( 20 kms, 30 minsdrive) . Arrive Syabrubesi and check into hotel. Day 13: Syabrubesi → Kathmandu
Today we retrace our steps to return back to Kathmandu. After a quick breakfast, we head towards Kathmandu which is a 140kms drive requiring 7/8 hours. Lunch will be arranged on the way. Arrive Kathmandu and check into hotel. Evening certificate distribution program will be organized which shall be followed by dinner. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu → Return Journey Home
Puja at Pashupatinath temple & departure. Breakfast and proceed to Pashupatinath temple for holy water offering. Return to hotel and free time until your departure transfer to the international airport for your onward flight.
